Users of the sonme app will be able to craft a digital one-time gift card, a ‘sonme’. Mandatory inputs include the beneficiary, the time frame and the amount of money. Optional inputs are the physical or digital location and the product or service. In short, a ‘sonme’ is an individually crafted gift card in a digital format.

Payments between users will take place outside the sonme app environment either via Venmo or Paypal.

Examples for sonme use cases are:
a) a friend treating another friend to a drink as a remote birthday surprise
b) a mother urging her daughter to buy sunscreen while she is on a field trip
c) a working colleague inviting one of his co-workers to buy a steak at a specific restaurant while he is on a business trip
